Community college students must build their IT skills to be
competitive in the workforce, and EDC has developed resources to help
ensure that they are proficient when they graduate.
Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), a global education and health nonprofit organization, is relocating its Washington, D.C., offices, effective August 2, 2010.
Growing up in Peru, Amy Aparicio Clark would accompany her physician father to visit patients in underserved areas. Now her work at EDC supports schools, communities, and families in helping Latino students achieve their potential.

EDC’s Center for Children and Technology is collaborating with PBS on a series of free online social studies games. Called Mission US, the games “get students interested in learning about history by allowing them to experience dramatic historical events as if they were there,” says Patricia de Stacy Harrison, president and CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
