An EDC report done for California schools addresses an alarming uptick in school suspensions and expulsions in the state. With a new round of funding, EDC will help implement the report’s most promising recommendations.
At Drexel University in Philadelphia, congressional and government leaders and educators shared effective approaches in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, with more than 30 interactive exhibits showing the latest innovations supporting science teaching and learning. The event, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and put on by EDC, highlighted best practices in the field.
Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), has appointed Lydia O’Donnell to the position of Director of Health and Human Development, one of the organization’s three program divisions.
